I haven’t read the other comments but I’d like to say that I made these little bites and they were delicious. They worked perfectly after preparing them exactly as stated. The only thing wrong with them is they are too good and you will not stop eating them LOL! They freeze well also.

Yes, you can, but they will not brown as nicely and the taste/texture will be affected a little.

can I skip the boiling step? I made pretzel rolls awhile back and they were too soggy and I followed the recipe exactly.
