Congratulations, and sorry about the morning sickness. I didn't get it much, so I have no helpful tips. Everything passes though, even though, at the time it seems to be lasting forever. With regard to cravings though... they come in unexpected forms. I NEVER had a sweet tooth, until pregnancy. And now 6 months later, I still have it (unfortunately). But I'm becoming a pretty good baker because of it! I can't resist a sweet recipe. I guess there are worse things. ha, ha. :)

Congrats! This is my first time checking out your blog. I am due in January and have also been absent from the kitchen due to relentless nausea - there really is nothing like it! I just started a new Rx - Zofran. It is a MIRACLE drug! I tried Fenigran (sp?) but had no luck. I would get on Zofran ASAP if you can. I'm happy to report I'm back in the kitchen and loving it! Best of luck and congrats again!

Potatoes! 2008 was officially the Year of the Potato... and boy was I glad. There are no rules, just follow your stomach... I had to eat 6 dry crackers before moving in the morning (thanks to husband bringing them before he went to work) and then two pieces of dry toast by 9am and then a baked potato with a little butter and salt by 12pm or I would be ill... for four months! But then I could eat fairly normally for the rest of the day, and by the second trimester I was back on most things. But raw veges, alcohol and coffee only went back on the menu once the babe was here. Good luck, my thoughts are with you!!
